Acquired by Quick Group in 2023, Sanguineti, a small-scale manufacturer of superyacht equipment, reports further unprecedented growth, with revenues expected to triple from 2022 to 2023, compared to 2022, by 2026. Revenue growth of 27% from 2023 to 2024 confirms that production across all its product lines is already at maximum capacity.

To best address this phase of significant growth, the company is working on solutions that will allow it to further increase production: "Riding the wave of great demand for Sanguineti products, we are building a new production facility in Casarza Ligure that will cover an area of 6 square meters, three times the current surface area," says Lorenzo Cesari, CEO of Sanguineti. He also reports that 2024 is expected to be at full production capacity, with orders valued at 6,5 million euros and having already sold approximately 40% of the production planned for 2025. He adds: "We are confident that we can complete our orders planned for 2025 within the next three months."

Investments in production infrastructure also extend to €2,2 million in new CNC machinery and waterjet technology for cutting steel and aluminum, as well as, Cesari continues, "new metal bending and milling machines, a new paint shop with oven, and production synergies with Catt, a company specializing in mechanical processing and also part of the Quick Group. This represents a significant investment not only in cutting-edge equipment, but also in manpower: we expect a 35% increase in our workforce."

Sanguineti also prioritizes product development and is committed to introducing new product lines and renewing existing ones to meet a wider range of demands and enable further customization, a key strategy for the 40- to 80-meter superyacht sector, its primary market.

“We are constantly developing new products based on the needs of shipyards. For example, we recently introduced retractable bollards, and we are currently designing and manufacturing multifunctional boarding and swim ladders featuring an elegant and luxurious design. This also includes version 2.0 of our extensive range of retractable capstans for motorboats, sailing yachts, and superyachts, as well as many other innovations,” says Cesari. “We have redesigned the Karin and Smeralda chairs with new color options, distinctive details such as the original label, the embroidered logo on the backrest and seat, new cases, and a new matte black 'Limited Edition Total Black'. Additionally, customers can customize their chairs with their name and logo.”

The new options and customizations for the iconic chairs clearly reflect Sanguineti's commitment to both tradition and innovation. Indeed, the company is expanding its synergies with shipyards in Northern Europe, the United States, and beyond, capitalizing on Quick Group's extensive brand portfolio and extensive network of offices and service centers in key nautical markets. "We can guarantee exceptionally high design quality and reliability," explains Cesari. "And now, being part of the Quick Group, we can further enhance our synergies with the other companies in the Group. This means we can communicate with customers not only about Sanguineti, but also about other Quick Group brands such as Nemo, Quick Spa, and Xenta."

"The collaboration with Quick Group's established after-sales network will strengthen our global presence and allow us to offer our customers even more qualified support for repeat orders or after-sales assistance. For example," Cesari explains, "the acquisition of YMS in Fort Lauderdale in January, which has become part of Quick USA, represents a strategic move for Sanguineti. It's crucial for us to be present there and provide technical support, considering we have around forty long-standing customers there with superyachts that still have original Sanguineti accessories on board! It's just another example of how our quality products bridge the gap between the past and the future, just like the company itself," concludes the CEO.
