The sixth Baglietto Dom133 has been launched
The yacht maintains the innovative maximum opening towards the outside to enhance the contact with the sea of the previous Astera model
The sixth hull of Baglietto's Dom133 was launched in the presence of the owner in a blessing ceremony officiated by the Bishop of Carrara, which took place at Baglietto's Carrara shipyard. Christened Barbara Anne, the yacht was then transferred to La Spezia for completion of her fitting-out.
The Dom133 Barbara Anne, has exteriors designed by Stefano Vafiadis and maintains the stylistic innovations introduced in the line with the m/y Astera To maximize the openness to the outside and enhance the connection with the sea: the main salon, for example, features a glass window on the port side thanks to the ventilation ducts moved outboard. On the upper deck, two floor-to-ceiling windows open onto two side balconies.
At the stern, the two-level swimming pool with the boat's logo embedded in the bottom remains, while – the shipyard points out – the swimming pool on the sundeck is totally custom, specifically designed and built for this hull.
The interiors are designed by Leonardo Santi and draw inspiration from car design, including some iconic car colors: Ferrari red, green, and blue, and Lamborghini orange customize the guest cabins on the lower deck, while—the note continues—the wheelhouse with a bronzed carbon-look top features grille inserts reminiscent of those found on sports cars.
On Barbara Anne, warm colors dominate, with cream and bronze accents. Smooth or fluted light woods with LED inserts and bronze trim give the yacht a very contemporary, elegant, understated, and refined feel. Noteworthy is the central staircase, also fluted wood with LED inserts and a striking custom chandelier by Paolo Castelli. The interior and exterior furnishings, with custom fabrics, are by Minotti.
The aluminum displacement vessel is powered by two Caterpillar C32 engines, allowing it to reach a top speed of 17 knots. The sale of this Dom133 was made possible thanks to the support of Northrop & Johnson Fort Lauderdale, the shipyard's statement concludes.
