Antonini Navi reveals the Sport Utility Yacht – Suy 135, the new superyacht developed by Aldo Manna, partner and commercial director of the La Spezia-based shipyard, together with designer Fulvio De Simoni.

The new 44-meter displacement superyacht Suy 135, with a displacement of approximately 480 GT, is currently under construction at the Antonini Navi shipyard, with delivery scheduled for 2026. It represents the first of the shipyard's new line of Sports Utility Yachts (SUYs). Moravia Yachts has been appointed as the Central Agency.

The Suy line, Antonini Navi reports in a press release, was designed by Fulvio de Simoni, with naval architecture by Studio Arrabito. Built in steel, the Suy 135 combines superyacht aesthetics with incredible seaworthiness.

"Just like an SUV in the automotive world, the SUY offers the opportunity to experience the boat without limits," says Aldo Manna, founder of the Sport Utility Yacht concept. "The idea was born to allow the owner and his guests to fully experience their yacht, having access to toys, services, tenders, and any other means suitable for the numerous sporting and recreational activities that the sea and its surroundings can offer."

"We are delighted to partner with Antonini Navi, a brand founded under the Antonini Group, a historic Italian company with over 70 years of experience in shipbuilding for onshore and offshore oil and gas fields, two sectors that require extremely high construction quality. Antonini Navi has built hulls for other leading luxury yacht manufacturers, and the launch of its own superyacht line has already achieved encouraging sales results. We are proud to represent the Antonini Suy series; it is an exciting and innovative concept with large volumes and ample capacity to carry toys and tenders, while also maintaining a focus on the owner's privacy and lifestyle," says Alessandro Diomedi, sales broker at Moravia Yachting.

The naval architecture, engineering, and layout were designed to allow the client to fully customize both the exterior and interior. The proposed interior layout features a main and upper deck connected by a raised deck with a short staircase, and five guest cabins. Accommodations include a 56-square-meter owner's suite on the main deck and four ensuite cabins on the lower deck. The captain and five crew members have their own dedicated area. Other layout options offered by the shipyard include a gym, spa/sauna, and various cabin configurations.

The Suy 135's outdoor spaces – the press release continues – include a 40-square-meter veranda with an al fresco dining area, sheltered from the elements and made more private by its location under the raised deck, and a 35-square-meter beach club with a hot tub aft. On the Sun Deck, a second hot tub makes the most of the view from above, while the bar counter, informal dining table, and sun loungers complete the furnishings.

A large transverse tender garage accommodates a 7-meter RIB and leaves plenty of space for toys. The superyacht has a range of 4.000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 16 knots. Zero-speed stabilizers ensure a high level of comfort.

The Suy 135 is part of a larger Antonini Navi project that will soon introduce the Suy 190 and Suy 108 to complete the range of an innovative yacht with strong seaworthiness. The yacht aims to meet the growing demand for a brand new type of superyacht capable of cruising in comfort and luxury in deep waters while remaining in close contact with the ocean and marine life, concludes the Antonini Navi statement.
