New partnership between San Giorgio Yachting and Kanoo Yachting for the Mediterranean and Middle East
The project is being developed with offices in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, as well as agreements with partners in Sri Lanka, Maldives and Seychelles

San Giorgio Yachting, a company recently acquired by the Schenone family's IL Investimenti group and active in the pleasure boating sector for several years, consolidates its growth with the opening of offices in Dubai and the Middle East.
Currently San Giorgio Yachting, with headquarters in Genoa and Portofino, operates throughout Italy and the Mediterranean using both offices owned by the IL group and associated companies and historic collaborations.
The new project was born and developed through a partnership with Kanoo Group, which has offices in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, as well as agreements with partners in Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and the Seychelles.
The partnership between the two groups is presented to the yachting market as San Giorgio Yachting / Kanoo Yachting and is aimed at the customers of both companies, offering, both in the Middle East and in the Mediterranean, the professionalism and high quality standards that characterise the assistance and services offered respectively.
Operations in the Middle East will be managed by John Drinkwater, chief executive officer of Kanoo Shipping, while in the Mediterranean the project management will be headed by Fulvia Linars, managing director of San Giorgio. "San Giorgio Yachting and Kanoo Yacht Services share a common vision of providing a specialized, high-quality service to the yachting industry. We are confident that our partnership with San Giorgio will only enhance our existing service provision, ensuring a first-class service to superyacht owners and operators throughout the Middle East region," said John Drinkwater and Fulvia Linari.
The project draws inspiration from the growing number of yachts in the Middle East, as recently highlighted by the Superyacht Gulf Summit in Abu Dhabi, and from the desire of both the Kanoo Group and San Giorgio to serve their clients in their respective areas of expertise.
The Middle East is experiencing significant growth and openness to tourism, and the Saudi Arabian project Neom is a clear example of this. Neom involves the construction of an artificial island—Sindala—dotted with hotels and marinas that will accommodate large yachts.
The United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia also represent the ideal answer to the yachting market's ever-growing demand for new destinations that offer both the allure of the new and yet to be discovered and impeccable service.
"It is precisely in terms of service, in its 360-degree sense, that San Giorgio and Kanoo intend to enter by promoting initiatives that make available to the yachting market everything currently available in areas now traditionally visited by boats: formalities completed without creating obstacles to the cruise of the pleasure vessel, comprehensive information on the area and destinations, proposals for marinas that accommodate boats of all sizes, top-quality food and beverage supplies, procurement of onboard equipment, assistance from experienced professionals in the sector available 24/7 and more," the two partner companies announced.
