Tankoa Yachts' first T450 model under 50 meters in length launched
Built in steel and aluminum, it is a project by Cassetta – Yacht Design & Architecture; the American owner had been presented by the Italian Yacht Group of Ft Lauderdale

The Tankoa Yachts shipyard in Genoa has announced that “Go”, the first unit in the Tankoa T450 superyacht series sold at the end of 2021, has just been successfully launched.
"The first model under 50 meters in length, the T450 expands Tankoa's range of luxury yachts, extending the manufacturer's values to the more compact market. This reaffirms the reputation of this boutique shipyard, which has made its commitment to quality and comfort, combined with innovation and elegance, a true cornerstone," reads a statement from the shipyard.
Built in steel and aluminum, the T450 is a design by Cassetta – Yacht Design & Architecture, “who created – explains the shipyard – a continuum with the timeless style of the Tankoa brand, adding bold vertical elements to the superstructure combined with clean horizontal lines”.
The American owner, introduced to the shipyard by Italian Yacht Group of Ft. Lauderdale, requested that this first unit be increased from its original gross tonnage of 430 GT to 450 GT to allow for greater interior volume. “The new T450 M/Y Go is an important addition to Tankoa's current fleet and is an incredibly flexible platform on which we can create semi-custom yachts, offering large volumes without compromising elegant, sleek lines,” says Claudio Corvino, sales and business development manager for the Americas and Asia-Pacific. “This first unit confirms what Tankoa can offer even at this size, and the final result was achieved thanks to great teamwork between the shipyard, the young and enthusiastic owner, and Giorgio M. Cassetta's design studio.”
Regarding onboard space, Go offers a large master stateroom forward on the main deck and five guest suites on the lower deck. Large windows throughout the yacht flood the interior with natural light, emphasizing the spaciousness of each space. The generous beach club features fold-down side walls that wrap around the stern and a sliding sun lounger that encloses the pool area during navigation. The large sundeck features a hot tub and a shaded dining area, while the upper deck features a sky lounge, a large gym, and an outdoor area with a fireplace forward.
With a second T450 unit already sold and under construction, in addition to the 45m TX450 also under construction, Tankoa is set to deliver Go in the spring before making her international debut at the autumn boat shows.
