Ab Yachts: Technical launch for a new Ab100 unit
The new Ab100 in champagne-coloured livery is currently being finalised.
Ab Yachts – a Next Yacht Group brand – has announced the technical launch of the new version of the Ab100 superyacht, now undergoing final fitting-out at the Group's dock in Viareggio.
The new yacht, with its champagne-colored livery, is 30,50 meters long and 6,80 meters wide. Built on two decks, it has a spacious flybridge that is well integrated into the superstructure.
All areas onboard, the shipyard reports, are easily accessible, fully embracing the guests and their unique lifestyle. The spaces are enhanced with solutions that offer extreme versatility—such as the retractable sliding door connecting the aft cockpit and the lounge, creating a single, large indoor-outdoor space that connects seamlessly with the fully equipped beach area and is always accessible. These spaces also offer usability and a striking aesthetic impact, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows in the lounge, which offer constant visual contact with the sea, the pleasant natural light that permeates the spaces, and a 360° panoramic view.
At the stern, the yacht has a beach area equipped for immediate use, with an advanced and exclusive Ab Yachts system for launching/hauling and storing tenders and jet skis, with various toys and anything else you need to have on hand.
The interiors are the result of a collaboration between the shipyard's Style Center and architect Marco Casamonti, the Group's artistic director, and reflect his "material" approach, focusing on the interior décor and furnishings. The main deck lounge is a loft-like space overlooking the sea, furnished with freestanding elements for versatility and freedom of use. The lower deck houses the four guest cabins and the galley, which can alternatively be located on the main deck.
The AB100 is equipped with powerful propulsion with three 2.000 hp Man engines and MJP waterjets, which push her to a cruising speed of 45 knots with maximum acceleration over 50. A Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizer is effective both at anchor and underway. The superyacht was built to spec.
