The Italian Sea Group, the shipbuilding group led by Giovanni Costantino, announces the launch of the Newgen project, designed to recruit recent high school and university graduates into its workforce. Launched a few weeks ago, Newgen will continue annually for at least the next five years.

Specifically, the project includes a 6-month internship in the Group's Quality Department for 10 recent high school and college graduates, primarily from the local area, selected based on academic and aptitude requirements.

During this period – explains Tisg – students will have the opportunity to come into contact with all areas of the company and will be able to follow, after a preparatory phase, ad hoc courses that will direct them towards specific activities and other company departments to which they will be assigned upon completion of the project.

"The Newgen project is an important opportunity to introduce talented young people into the workforce, those who wish to embark on a growth path in an exciting and cutting-edge company like ours," commented Giovanni Costantino, founder and CEO of The Italian Sea Group. "Absolute attention to quality is one of our core values; therefore, we decided to launch this growth path starting with the department that guarantees it, so that these young resources can immediately feel an active part of our system and share our approach to work."

Newgen adds to the training program the Group has consistently implemented for years, including courses organized by the Tisg Academy for employees, students, and suppliers in collaboration with the naval and nautical engineering and design departments of prestigious Italian universities, including those in Trieste and Naples, and with Promostudi of the University of La Spezia.
