Quick Group, a company specializing in the production and marketing of nautical accessories, continues its expansion with the acquisition of Nemo Industrie, announced during Metstrade 2023. Founded in 1969 in northern Italy, Nemo Industrie specializes in the production of nautical components.

Over the years, Quick recalls in a statement, the company has expanded, extending to the United States in 2006, with the creation of Quick USA Inc, and to the United Kingdom in 2018. 2022 marked a significant milestone with the agreement with Fondo Italiano d'Investimento Sgr and Armònia Sgr for the acquisition of a majority stake in Quick Spa, with the aim of increasing development opportunities with the launch of new 100% Quick products.

This year, the company made three acquisitions: the 100% acquisition of Sanguineti Chiavari, a Ligurian company that designs components for large pleasure boats; the acquisition of Xenta Systems, specializing in the development of control systems for pleasure boats; and the acquisition of Nemo Industrie, a specialist in the production of components for motor and sailing boats. Another major acquisition is planned for spring 2024.

2023 also saw new additions to the Quick Group, including Tommi Salonen, Quick Group Chief Compliance Officer, Marco Rodi, Chief Operating Officer, and Arco Santoro, General Manager of Quick USA, joining from the Ferretti Group.

The most recent acquisition is that of Nemo Industrie, based in Forlì. The company manages every aspect of its product production, from design to material selection, from manufacturing to assembly and quality control.

"This is another important acquisition announced just a few weeks after that of Xenta, which confirms the Group's proactive and dynamic spirit and represents a further step forward in the strategic path of increasing superyacht coverage and strengthening the Group's perceived image," commented Chiara Marzucco, Marketing Director of Quick Group.
