Mini K changes name and owner after refit by Palumbo Superyachts
The spacious superyacht ExtraX86 Fast launched in 2019 after a new hull and superstructure paint job has been sold to a new owner
Soney, this is the new name of Mini K, the 26-metre ExtraX86 Fast series yacht by Extra Yachts which, after undergoing a refit at Palumbo Superyachts, has been sold to a new owner.
Launched in 2019, the X86 Fast – explains the shipyard – boasts exceptional volumes in relation to its length, with comforts comparable to those of a seaside villa, extremely low consumption for great sailing autonomy and environments that favor direct contact with the sea.
The exterior design is by Guida Design while the interiors are by the Palumbo Superyachts style office and Guida Design.
Soney has undergone a complete refinishing of her hull and superstructure, which now boasts a chalk gray. The engine room has been thoroughly overhauled, including the regeneration of the engines, which were brought to zero-hours, and the replacement of the generators, watermakers, pumps, and air conditioning system.
All electro-hydraulic movement parts, such as the gangway and the transformer, have been checked and repainted.
The teak on all decks has been replaced, and the interior layout of the saloon has been changed, with a partition between the helm station and the saloon. Access to the crew area is now located next to the helm station and concealed by the new bar counter.
The stabilization system has also been replaced with Humphree's modern carbon stabilizer fin system.
Extra X86 Fast was designed to offer an extremely comfortable and informal sailing experience; it can accommodate up to 8 people in 4 cabins, including 2 with single beds, a VIP cabin positioned towards the bow and a full-beam owner's cabin.
The galley is located aft and, through a large window with an automatic up/down system, allows direct access to the outdoor dining area. This solution creates a full-beam living area in the bow, furnished with large sofas and an extendable table.
This vessel offers exceptional livability throughout: for example, the exceptional cockpit, spanning over 50 square meters, allows guests to enjoy living in comfort alongside the sea. The cockpit extends over three levels, sloping down toward the water. Meanwhile, a large sundeck and comfortable sofa create a fourth relaxation area at the bow.
Fast reaches a top speed of over 30 knots thanks to the innovative, simple and silent Ips 1350 propulsion system consisting of 3 Volvo Penta 735kW engines.
