Tankoa Yachts' first TX450 explorer yacht sold
The new explorer is born from the evolution of the T450 design by Giorgio Cassetta in a full custom project in which the expert owner has followed every detail both inside and out.
The sale of the first new Tx450 explorer yacht was proudly announced today by the Genoese shipyard Tankoa Yachts.
The superyacht is an explorer version of the 45-metre T450 designed by Giorgio Cassetta which then evolved into a totally full custom project.
Renowned designer Cassetta is responsible for both the elegant exterior and refined interior design, and has retained the clean lines and graceful styling typical of Tankoa’s DNA, while remaining very faithful to the original T450.
“The concept behind this yacht was developed around the idea of exploring the world in total comfort. Cassetta opted for a very balanced design that we call 'crossover,' which perfectly combines the proportions of an explorer with that touch of elegance typical of Tankoa,” explains Claudio Corvino, Head of Sales and Development at Tankoa. “This yacht was designed in collaboration with her experienced owner, who was involved in every detail of the exterior and interior design from day one.”
The Tx450 extends across four decks and stands out for its unique interior layout for a yacht of this size: all cabins are located on the main deck, including the owner's master stateroom. The common areas are primarily concentrated on the upper deck and the bridge deck. The interior also features a gym, a spa, and a convertible cabin, increasing the guest cabin capacity to six if needed.
There are outdoor communal areas on all decks, including two swimming pools, one at sea level aft surrounded by two opening platforms, as well as a beach club that extends over three actual levels when the tender or jet skis are launched, offering incredible living space on a yacht of this size.
The engineering phase of the Tx450 is nearly complete and construction will begin shortly, with delivery scheduled for spring 2025.
There are currently 8 other Tankoa projects under construction: two S501s, two T450s, two T55 Sportivas, a T580 Custom and the Tankoa Vitruvius 52.
