Pininfarina and De Simoni Yacht Design have opened a new design boutique in Porto Lotti.
The two companies consolidate a collaboration that has already led to the creation of a first research project (X2-Explorer X Experience) which will be joined by the first joint catamaran project, scheduled for preview at the next Cannes Yachting Festival 2023

Pininfarina and De Simoni Yacht Design have opened a new waterfront design boutique in the heart of Porto Lotti in La Spezia, joining the Blue Mile, a leading hub for the nautical sector that includes the industry's leading names.
"With the opening of this new space, Pininfarina is introducing a direct presence on the sea for the first time, strengthening its range of nautical-related services, in addition to what has already been developed for years at its headquarters in Cambiano (Turin) and its teams in Miami (USA) and Shanghai (China). A design boutique conceived not only to promote Pininfarina's services but also as a meeting place for clients, potential clients, and partners," reads a statement.
Located in the Gulf of La Spezia, Porto Lotti is a hub for shipyards and the entire nautical industry. The announcement states that "the design boutique strengthens the collaboration between Pininfarina and De Simoni Yacht Design, already announced at the Monaco Yacht Show last September 2022. This strategic partnership integrates the solid expertise and extensive experience of Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design with that of Pininfarina, capable of bringing freshness and innovation thanks to its experience in various sectors – from automotive to architecture."
With the opening of the Design Boutique in Porto Lotti, Pininfarina and De Simoni consolidate the collaboration that has already led to the creation of a first research project, X2-Explorer X Experience, presented as a world premiere at the MYS 2022, which will be joined by the first joint catamaran project, scheduled to premiere at the next Cannes Yachting Festival 2023.
