Baglietto presented the 35-meter Dom115 in Florida

The "smallest" of the successful series retains the styling of the Dom 133 but further enhances the continuous dialogue between interior and exterior on this yacht. The panoramic windows offer a unique 270-degree view.

The stage for the presentation of the Dom 115, the latest creation from Baglietto for the Dom line of the La Spezia-based shipyard, was Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dom 115 is the 35-metre entry-level model in the successful Dom series, of which the shipyard has already sold 8 units in the last two years.

The presentation was made by Sales Director Fabio Ermetto during a meeting with the North American brokerage house sales force held at the Lauderdale Marina Yacht Club. During the event, the director detailed the features of the new model in the Dom line, whose exteriors, like the others in the series, were designed by Stefano Vafiadis.

“We embarked on this project to meet the numerous requests from clients who appreciated the strengths of the Dom 133 but were looking for a more compact yacht,” comments Fabio Ermetto. “This new model perfectly meets the market's needs, allowing us to enter the superyacht segment with a product with unique features and built in steel and aluminum.”

The basic concept remains unchanged – explains the La Spezia-based shipyard – the Dom 115 also reinterprets the stylistic features that have made the flagship model so successful: from the timeless, modern, and captivating lines that nonetheless take the sporty look of its larger sister to the extreme, to the considerable volumes, unique for boats of this size, up to the use of large panoramic windows that open like terraces and allow a massive amount of natural light to enter.

In particular, this model further enhances the sense of unified space, creating a seamless dialogue between interior and exterior thanks to the fully retractable doors in the main deck saloon. These, combined with the floor-to-ceiling windows, offer a unique 270-degree view. The fully glazed upper deck opens on three sides. The organization of space is thus reinterpreted, increasingly breaking free of its traditional and formal boundaries to rediscover new ones, more in keeping with the lifestyle of a contemporary owner, in touch with nature and the sea.

The aft area also proves to be an ideal space, structured on three levels that gradually descend toward the sea and which house the sea-view swimming pool. The tender is housed in a side garage, thus freeing up the deck from technical clutter.

The level of customization achievable with this model is always unique and very high, a key factor in the success of its larger sistership, thanks to the choice of steel and aluminum as construction materials that best allow for flexibility with respect to the many requests for layout customization (which had also represented one of the major successes of the Dom 133) as well as representing an added value in terms of comfort for boats of this size.

The chosen engine is Man, allowing for a speed of 14,5 knots. A hybrid version has also been studied.

The first Dom115 model available for sale – Baglietto informs – is scheduled for delivery in May 2025.
