Ferretti confirms the acquisition of a shipyard in Ravenna from Rosetti Marino for €40 million.
Another 40 million will be invested over the next three years in the construction of new production facilities and a research and development center. It will be dedicated to Wally boats and other yachts of the group.

Confirming the preview of SUPER YACHT 24 from last February 20thFerretti Group has just announced the acquisition of a production site of over 70.000 square meters, including a dry dock, in San Vitale (province of Ravenna).
In a statement, the group explains that "the acquisition involved an initial investment of approximately €40 million, followed by another €40 million over the next three years for the construction of new production facilities and a research and development center. The transaction is part of the Ferretti Group's growth strategy, and the new facility, once fully operational, will increase production capacity by approximately 20%. The acquisition of the new Ravenna shipyard was financed entirely with its own funds raised through the recent listing on the Hong Kong stock exchange." Rosetti Marino sold this production facility, having clarified in recent weeks that the Rosetti Super Yachts brand was not being sold.
The new production site in the province of Ravenna is strategically located near the Forlì headquarters and the Cattolica shipyard. This operation consolidates the group's investment strategy, which over the past five years has led to the expansion and improvement of all production facilities, particularly the La Spezia shipyard and the Ancona superyacht yard.
"The acquisition of this area fulfills a promise we made. We have big plans and envision a production site that is cutting-edge in every respect: worker well-being, positive social impact, environmental protection—including through careful selection of materials—and increased production. Ravenna is the perfect home for Wally sailboats and for the expansion of our other brands, starting with the extraordinary Ferretti Yachts InFYnito range," said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. "We are choosing Italy once again," he concluded, "and investing not only to become stronger, but also to uphold the banner of a sector that is a symbol of our country: luxury yachting and the widespread entrepreneurial and artisanal network that is admired and envied around the world."
