"Superyacht refits in Italy: a field of excellence worth defending"This is the title of the 2nd SUPER YACHT 24 Forum, which will take place on April 12th at Marina Genova as part of the Sea You event.
Just as we did last December during the first edition held in Porto Mirabello, our online magazine offers a new opportunity for discussion and debate among industry insiders on one of the most promising and interesting segments of the large pleasure boating industry. The business of superyacht repairs and interior renovations is, in effect, a core business for some Italian shipyards, which, however, face fierce competition from other Mediterranean competitors. Alongside traditional players, there are also newcomers representing shipyards seeking to complement their service offerings and a typically stable and countercyclical business.
As always, those directly involved will discuss the prospects, critical issues, opportunities, and the positive aspects, as well as those that could be improved: shipyards, suppliers, captains, brokers, surveyors, trade associations, and other stakeholders.
The main topics of the roundtable discussion were: new challenges and opportunities in superyacht refits in Italy, efficiency and competitiveness factors, international competition, new players, new development projects, innovation and sustainability, captains' opinions, and new infrastructure and investment projects.
