Del Vecchio's superyacht price reduced by 8 million
About two months after its appearance on the market, the broker Royal Yacht International has lowered its asking price for the pleasure vessel Moneikos.

The yacht Moneikos, already on sale with Annalisa Mastella as central agent for Royal Yacht International, has had its price reduced by €8.050.000.
The first and only owner of Moneikos was the entrepreneur Leonardo Del VecchioThe yacht was put up for sale last November, five months after the passing of Luxottica's founder. Built of steel and aluminum by the Italian shipyard Codecasa in 2006, Moneikos has always undergone meticulous maintenance; its latest refits were carried out in 2018 and again in 2020.
Able to comfortably accommodate 16 guests in eight cabins, Moneykos also features an elevator connecting all decks. The master suite, carefully designed to ensure the owner's privacy, is located on the upper deck, beneath the sundeck, offers a 180° panoramic view, and is completely separate from the rest of the vessel.
A double guest cabin and two twin cabins that can be converted into a full-beam VIP suite are located forward on the upper deck, while on the lower deck there are two further double cabins and two spacious twin cabins.
Designed by Studio Dedalo, the yacht's interiors exude timeless elegance, with generous seating that lends an inviting and comfortable atmosphere to the entire space. The studio's choice of fine woods favored dark African wenge for the floors and, for added warmth, light maple on the walls. The ceilings are hand-lacquered.
Moneikos's exterior, designed by Della Role, features distinctive dark stripes that hide the large, tinted rectangular windows and punctuate the superstructure levels. The sundeck is largely covered, maximizing interior volume and reducing the emphasis on sunbathing.
Powered by twin 2.450 hp Caterpillar 3516B engines, it can reach a top speed of 17,5 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots, while its range, at reduced speed, is 6.000 nautical miles. Stability both underway and at rest is further ensured by Naiad zero-speed stabilizers. Moneikos is currently for sale at €29.950.000 including VAT.
