The “Ma Victoire” extends from the Giangrasso shipyard

The Viareggio shipyard will increase the length of the super yacht owned by an Italian owner from 30 to 35 metres

Ma Victoire

The Giangrasso shipyard continues to win important orders in the refit field, always with highly prestigious yachts.

Superyacht 24 is able to anticipate that after the recent interventions carried out before on the Moor of Venice and then on Force Blue, the Viareggio company led by Bartolomeo Giangrasso has just begun the extension works of the My Victory, a 30,5-meter Ocean King 100 built by Cantieri Navali Chioggia and delivered in 2012.

After the “Giangrasso treatment” the boat will be brought to 35.7 metres and the refit, unlike that carried out on the Force Blue which was 'only' a metal lengthening, will also include the extension of the upper decks.

All the design and manufacturing of the My Victory which in its original configuration accommodated ten people, plus six crew members, and was capable of reaching a maximum speed of 12 knots, will be carried out in-house at the shipyard.

Delivery to the owner, an Italian industrialist, is scheduled for May 2023, in time to allow the owner to fully enjoy the next summer season.

The refit, which is quite complex, will also involve moving the shaft lines and the steering system, all of which will be repositioned towards the stern.

Giangrasso is currently working on 18 vessels, including refits and new builds, ranging in length from 18 to 54 meters. Most of the boats are managed in Viareggio, but for two of the larger yachts, the company relies on Gestione Bacini in Livorno.

Giangrasso employs over fifty people on a permanent basis, including direct employees and full-time collaborators, in addition to another two hundred in related industries.
