Ocean Alexander unveils new Puro series
The project includes a first 35P designed by Italian firms that follows and enhances the shipyard's heritage; three units of the series are already under construction

The first 35-meter project from the brand new Puro series created by the Taiwanese shipyard Ocean Alexander, presented during the 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, has met with considerable appreciation, with 3 units already under construction, with the first hull expected to debut at the 2023 Fort Lauderdale edition.
Among the salient features of the model presented at the Boat Show are its three decks and fiberglass construction. This new yacht will be designed by Giorgio Cassetta and Andrea Agrusta of the Italian engineering firm NavalHead.
Giorgio Cassetta's collaboration with the Ocean Alexander shipyard is unprecedented, and the designer explained about this project: "The shipyard has a legacy of creating highly reliable ocean-going vessels, capable of navigating in inclement weather. I wanted this ability to be present in every new project. I wanted to create a beautiful boat that spoke the Ocean Alexander language."
The 35P is therefore focused on stability and seaworthiness, and presents itself as tall and powerful with its uninterrupted 11-meter upper deck from bow to stern, which completely obscures the main deck cockpit and creates the illusion of a longer, sleeker boat. Inside, the deck is a single space that houses both the helm station and the lounge area, with windows that can be tinted for privacy. Surrounding walkaround decks ensure maximum accessibility for owners and guests.
Approximately 56 square meters of space are planned for the sundeck and 18,5 square meters will be dedicated to the beach club, which can be converted into a garage.
The 35P has a beam of 7,4 meters, a gross tonnage of 273 GT, and a draft of 2,1 meters. Power comes standard with two 2000 hp Man engines, allowing for a top speed of 24 knots, which can be increased to 27 if the buyer opts for the 2600 hp engines.
The layout of the new project includes five cabins, four of which are for guests on the lower deck and the owner's cabin on the main deck, two bunk cabins for the crew's accommodation and the captain's cabin in the bow area of the lower deck.
