HP Watermakers opens Fort Lauderdale 'flagship warehouse'
The new base will guarantee the Lombardy company assistance to the many yachts present in the USA, Canada and the Caribbean and will open the prospect of important commercial and network developments throughout the Americas.

HP Watermakers, a Milan-based company producing fully automatic watermakers for yachting and luxury resorts, after the inauguration of its showroom in Dubai, has announced the inauguration of its 'flagship warehouse' in Fort Lauderdale as a hub for the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, and is doing so just before the next US boat show.
The new service center joins those already operating in the Maldives and South Africa, alongside 50 dealers operating in as many countries worldwide. The company, which exports 80% of its production, "has a very special relationship with Fort Lauderdale, having always considered it a key hub for the nautical industry," explains co-founder and sales manager Gianni Zucco. "Furthermore, given the global importance of its boat show, being present there with a branch is a great satisfaction and a significant milestone. Furthermore, the location of the flagship warehouse will allow for what is still the company's priority: ensuring service for the many yachts present in the USA, Canada, and the Caribbean." Last but not least, there is also the prospect of significant commercial and network developments throughout the Americas.
"Right now, our priority is to ensure our customers receive the best and most timely assistance because, as is our established policy, we don't just ensure high-quality standards, but also provide prompt and professional after-sales service," says Zucco. "A few weeks ago, I experienced a landmark event: a US Absolute dealer asked us for a replacement for a burned-out card, asking if it could be delivered within a fortnight. I called our partner in Fort Lauderdale, David Di Meco, and exactly an hour and a half after the first email, the new card was delivered. That's what I mean by assistance, but it's just the beginning."
HP Watermakers – the company continues – features fully automatic technology and was the first company in the industry to develop its own interface (called Part-Net) that is fully compatible with onboard electronics from various brands such as Raymarine, Garmin, Furuno, Simrad, B&G, and Lowrance. This allows the user to control the entire desalination system, including pressure and all other operating parameters, from the plotter on the dashboard, or even from a smartphone when an internet connection is available, without any manual intervention.
"I make no secret of the fact that the immediate goal following the first major step of opening our US flagship warehouse is to make it a driving force for further penetration of the American market by creating a sub-dealer network and strengthening our presence at many local shipyards. Our second participation in the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (booth #498) is another step toward embarking on a new and promising growth path, which we had already planned with Ibex in September, which unfortunately was canceled due to Hurricane Ian," concludes Zucco.
HP Watermakers' Fort Lauderdale flagship warehouse is located at 1017 SE 17th Street in the F3 Marina, within walking distance of all major shipyards.
