The fifth unit of Tankoa's 501 series has been launched.
The fifth hull of the Tankoa 501 series was privately launched in the waters off the Genoese shipyard.

The fifth hull of Tankoa's S501 series was launched on October 22nd. Several international media reported that the unnamed project was launched at the Italian shipyard's Genoa facility in a private ceremony. Started on a speculative basis and sold to a European owner in September 2021, the new 50-meter vessel is expected to be delivered to its owner by early next year.
Designed by Francesco Paszkowski, a long-time collaborator with the Tankoa shipyard, the superyacht's interiors were designed by Giorgio Cassetta, marking a departure from the series, which until now had seen the Tuscan designer fully involved in both its exterior and interior lines.
Cassetta, a Roman designer, has so far worked with his studio on only a few yacht interiors, among the most recent of which is the 31-meter Vivace on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
The newly launched 501 – joining sister ships Kinda and Olokun – features a greater focus on audiovisual entertainment, with a pool with built-in speakers and state-of-the-art television screens installed throughout the vessel.
The design team included several customizations to suit the young European owner, including a pair of guest cabins on the main deck, an oversized sundeck, and enlarged windows.
The new 501 will be powered by conventional diesel propulsion and is expected to reach a top speed of around 18 knots.
