"The Marche region is the right part of Italy for building superyachts."

Training will be one of the areas on which the Marche Yachting & Cruises association will focus in the near future.

Cannes (France) – "Why did you choose the wrong part of Italy to build superyachts?" This was the question he heard, and it convinced Vasco Buonpensiere, marketing manager and partner at Cantiere Delle Marche, to support the project of the Marche Yachting & Cruises association, created to raise awareness and promote the importance of the Marche regional nautical cluster. Buonpensiere himself explained this during a press conference held aboard the brand new Uptight. 32-meter explorer superyacht delivered last spring and on display at the French show.

Led by President Maurizio Minossi, head of Videoworks and the association's primary advocate, "Marche Yachting & Cruises was founded to demonstrate that ours is the right part of Italy to operate in the large-scale yachting sector," as Buonpensiere puts it. "It's like with cars," he added, "when you think of automotive, your mind immediately goes to Turin and Piedmont, but the best cars are produced in Emilia-Romagna. The same goes for the Marche region in the large-scale yachting sector. When Maurizio (Minossi, ed.) told me about what they do as an association, including in the field of education, I was immediately convinced of the importance of joining."

The marketing and sales manager of Cantiere delle Marche emphasized that, looking at the names of the members and the companies that could join Marche Yachting & Cruises in the near future, "we're talking about an association that will be able to deliver results," he emphasized. "We need to put in three times as much effort as the others to be successful and promote ourselves properly."

He emphasized that this association wasn't created to solicit funds from the Marche Region, but rather to bring together high-quality companies and seek synergies. One of these will be in the field of training, for example: "It's difficult for us to attract skilled human resources to the Marche region (for example, by snatching them from Tuscany), so we said to ourselves: why not train them in our region?" Training a new generation of human resources will be one of the main areas on which Marche Yachting & Cruises will focus its efforts and resources in the near future.

The members are Crn – Ferretti Group, Cantiere delle Marche, CPN, Cantiere Rossini, Palumbo Superyachts, Wider, LP Luxury Projects, Massari Design, FM Architettura di Interni, Poltrona Frau, Cantori, AMS Advanced Mechanical Solutions, Corset/Linset, Team Italia, Furlanetto International, Videoworks, SailADV, Marine Shore Assistance, I-Carbon, Planstudio and the Polytechnic University of Marche.
