Sanlorenzo presents the world premiere of the Sd90 and Sp110 at Cannes
In addition to the two new yachts, the La Spezia-based shipyard will bring a fleet of its most emblematic boats to the French boat show: ten models that combine technological research, nautical excellence and Italian tradition.

The Sanlorenzo shipyard will present two models as a world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022, which will be held from 6 to 11 September: the semi-displacement Sd90 and theopen coupé Sp110, both made with a green, environmentally friendly approach that translates into reduced consumption and the use of materials from alternative sources.
The SD90 is the entry-level model in the revamped SD line, the shipyard's range of semi-displacement vessels that began with the SD96 and SD118. The exterior design is by Zuccon International Project and the interiors by Patricia Urquiola. The model, which will be exhibited in Cannes, represents a project that focuses on cross-cutting technological efficiency—the shipyard explains—both in terms of performance and research into materials. The vessel's exterior lines are innovative in terms of volumes and a design structured across two and a half decks with an open flybridge, while the layout of the lower and main decks is designed for maximum livability with innovative solutions for a new perception of exterior and interior spaces.
The interior design of the Sd90 was entrusted for the third time to Patricia Urquiola, a designer whose approach is closely tied to the transformability of spaces and inspired by sustainability criteria. The Sd9's marine-inspired style expresses a strong connection with the outdoors; the raw materials used are sourced from alternative sources, in keeping with a commitment to circularity.
The other new model that will be exhibited is – among other things – the first open coupé in the history of the Sanlorenzo shipyard.Sp110 represents a revolutionary proposal in the world of sports boats – explains the note – for its ability to combine green sensibility and comfort with unparalleled performance.
The first yacht in the Sp, or "smart performance," range features a fractional propulsion system consisting of three significantly smaller engines, resulting in an optimal weight-to-power ratio. The use of several solutions to ensure significant weight savings, such as the use of lightweight materials, further optimizes fuel consumption and performance. The Sp110's hull design, by Marco Arnaboldi and optimized for use with waterjet propulsion, is crucial. Sustainability is also a key focus: the boat is equipped with an energy recovery system that uses monocrystalline solar panels. The new exterior styling, created by Studio Zuccon International Project, is strongly distinctive for the new range, yet continues the Sanlorenzo tradition: innovative shapes in terms of proportions and aerodynamic lines, as well as a livery that departs from the shipyard's more traditional colors to embrace the more typical hues of sports boats.
SP110 is a two-deck yacht with a unique layout, featuring large, multipurpose spaces and offering unparalleled interior and exterior livability for a vessel of this type. The interior spaces, designed by Piero Lissoni, are arranged across two non-separated levels, effectively creating a "vertical loft" that fosters and facilitates conviviality.
At Cannes, Sanlorenzo's two new 2022 models will be joined by the shipyard's most emblematic boats: a fleet of ten models that combine technological research, nautical excellence, and Italian tradition, starting with the elegant and well-proportioned SL78 planing range; the asymmetric SL96A, SL90A, and SL106A, revolutionary in their design of spaces and their use on board; the semi-displacement shuttles represented by the SD96 and SD118—the latter asymmetrical adapted to the lines of the displacement shuttle—and the crossover line featuring the SL76 and SL88, a synthesis between the classic flying bridge motoryacht and the explorer typology.
