B.YOND 37M – Benetti

The eagerly awaited launch of the 37-meter B.Yond, the new four-deck Voyager superyacht, took place today at the Benetti shipyard in Livorno. Replacing fiberglass, the shipyard has made a unique choice for vessels of this size: a return to steel. A leap back to the 50s, when Benetti itself switched from wooden construction to metal. Steel, for many markets, symbolizes durability and solidity, qualities inherent in a Voyager designed for long-distance voyages. The innovative E-Mode Hybrid system from Siemens Energy optimizes onboard energy consumption based on specific usage profiles, ensuring a significant reduction in CO2 and NOx emissions.

Paolo Vitelli, founder and president of the Azimut|Benetti Group, said: “I am delighted to present one of the most innovative boats ever built. The equipment of a
The hybrid system, which allows for long-range cruising while respecting the environment, and the design that integrates four decks into just 37 meters, make it a dream for the modern owner who wants to sail the world with family and friends. I wanted to imagine a record-breaking boat, and now here it is.”

The B.Yond 37M combines SCR catalytic filters—a gas control technology powered by a liquid urea solution, already adopted in the automotive industry for Euro 6D diesel engines—with Siemens Energy's innovative E-Mode Hybrid system, based on an integrated, "crew-friendly" add-on architecture that relies on a traditional system for extremely simple management, allowing the yacht to switch between mechanical and electric propulsion without the need for specialized personnel on board. This innovative solution offers the freedom to travel in four different modes, including full-electric mode for zero-emission navigation. This exclusive feature will allow this superyacht to access protected marine areas or zones normally off-limits to motor navigation. The lithium battery pack also allows the yacht to remain at anchor in zero-emission 'hotel mode', keeping the generators off and powering the main onboard appliances from the battery. This means spending time at anchor in harmony with nature, immersed in silence and in the total absence of vibrations. With the new generation of high energy density batteries, with a 300 kW/h battery pack it will be possible to enjoy a range of up to 8 hours at anchor during the day and 12 hours at night.
hours at night. The battery charging time is only three hours.

Estimating an average annual usage of 1.000 hours, of which 400 at sea and the remainder at anchor, a reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 of up to 24% and a reduction in NOx emissions of up to 85% can be achieved. Added to all this is the great value of a Voyager with an incredible range, almost double that of traditional shuttles of similar size, and capable of reaching up to 8.200 nautical miles at 9 knots in eco-transfer mode with the two diesel generators turned off and a single propulsion engine running, with a reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of up to 16% and NOx emissions of up to 80% compared to a traditional propulsion system.

Righini's revolutionary concept includes the addition of a fourth deck that allows all the most luxurious areas of the vessel to be raised, offering an incredible panoramic view.
The Lower Deck houses the service area, which includes a walking wine cellar and a cold room, uncommon for vessels of this size. The Main Deck is dedicated to guest accommodation, with four suites accessible from a panoramic lounge with generous windows, which Benetti has named the Playroom. Stepping up to the Upper Deck, the living area, completely unobstructed, opens onto a 360-degree sea view. The upper deck, the Bridge Deck, is dedicated to the owner, while the Sun Deck features a dining area with a pantry and outdoor table, sheltered by a hard top.

Two stairways, one for guests and one for the crew, allow for a completely separate flow, ensuring complete privacy for the owner and his guests. The layout is extremely flexible: the Main Deck, in addition to the four guest suites—particularly spacious for a 37-meter vessel—can accommodate either the owner's cabin or the Playroom with a panoramic view. The Bridge Deck can accommodate, upon request, the owner's cabin or a panoramic veranda. On the Lower Deck, the gym can be replaced by a sixth guest cabin. Another large
A new feature is the captain's two cabins, a full-size one located near the wheelhouse and a very spacious one adjacent to the crew quarters. Should the captain choose to use the one closest to the wheelhouse, the second cabin could become a seventh guest cabin. The spacious garage houses, for the first time in a protected and hidden area, a 6,5-meter tender for the owner, a 4,2-meter rescue boat, and two jet skis.

The white steel hull, with an aluminum superstructure, expresses the personality and elegance of the B.Yond 37M, complemented by stainless steel handrails, also painted white and finished with a teak gunwale: a unique and original stylistic solution. The hull was designed by Pierluigi Ausonio's Studio PLANA. Open and spacious, the interior design, curated by architect Mauro Izzo of Benetti, increases the scope for customization, allowing the owner to express their own taste and creativity.
personality on a yacht to be experienced as if it were a second home. A spirit that Giorgetti, a leading contemporary design brand, chosen by Benetti to furnish the first B.Yond 37M, perfectly interpreted, accommodating all the owner's requests through the pursuit of beauty and functionality under the banner of high-end quality. The exquisite
The selected materials are presented in natural color palettes, enhanced by touches of blue that, among fabrics and accessories, stand out in contrast with the optical white of the walls and recall the color of the sea.
