Work will soon begin on every owner's dream: the Dream 42 CCN.
The first yacht under the new Fractional Ownership arrangement already has three owners, while further contracts are being finalized with additional clients. Construction will begin in December 2022.
Andrea Pezzini and Barbara Tambani's Floating Life has announced the construction of a 42-meter displacement superyacht, which will be entrusted to the Ccn team, formerly the Cerri shipyard, which was acquired by the Baglietto Group in February 2021.
The new vessel – informs the company active in 360-degree yachting services – has innovative features that make it ideal for sharing among seven different owners, each of whom will own a fraction of the vessel.
"Floating Life and Ccn represent two leading names in the industry, and being able to offer our clients the same build quality as this shipyard is a source of great pride for us. It's also a further reason to emphasize the dedication we place on our owners, consistently offering them high-quality products and services," said Filippo Rossi, Compliance Director at Floating Life, who also emphasized the extremely positive moment for the company, which coincides with its 20th anniversary celebrations.
Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto's compliance director, also expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity to dedicate the Ccn brand to special and unique projects like this. This satisfaction was shared by Floating Life CEO Andrea Pezzini, who believes the collaboration will confirm and strengthen the company's market presence and, at the same time, open up new horizons thanks to the two companies' shared vision for the future.
Specifically, the Dream 42 yacht features—like the FL38, 42, and 47 models of the fully customizable FL Series Anniversary—the same technical platform designed by Andrea Pezzini, in collaboration with Satura Studio, and with ZeroTredici for the hulls. The Dream 42 is a 42-meter displacement yacht with a transoceanic range and represents the first yacht in the new Fractional Ownership or Timesharing program, in which Floating Life has now built on 16 years of experience managing Ocean yachts.
Like the 38, 42 and 47 models mentioned above, the Dream 42 features the innovative under lower deck with the engine room on an additional deck, freeing up space in the guest area on the lower deck and creating a corridor that puts this area in direct contact with the beach area, also facilitating crew service.
The company explains that moving the engine room also allows for lower weight storage, improving the vessel's stability. It also allows for an adjacent technical area, perhaps for a laundry or storage area. Finally, the Dream 42 is designed with a range of 5000 nautical miles and is therefore capable of smooth Atlantic crossings.
The choice of name for this 42-meter vessel is no coincidence: "We believe that Dream represents every owner's dream," explains Andrea Pezzini. "Compared to Pearl and Emerald, the yachts in the Ocean series, it offers many improvements in terms of the use of living space and the protection of privacy."
Another unique feature of the Dream 42 is its six different outdoor areas, at the front and rear of the yacht, on different decks. This means that with all 12 guests allowed on board, for example, six couples, each can enjoy their own private space. The layout features seven cabins, designed with versatile spaces and maximum flexibility of layout: an advantage also for the charter market.
Currently, 3 owners have already joined the Fractional Ownership program offered on the Dream 42, and other contracts are being defined with additional clients.
Construction on the Dream 42 is scheduled to begin in December 2022; the agreements also include a quote for the construction of the other three boats in the FL Anniversary series.
