Camper & Nicholson will sell the first Giangrasso-branded superyacht
The first G27 Sport will be built entirely in-house at the Viareggio site and is scheduled for delivery in mid-2024.

The Giangrasso shipyard will begin construction of its first new superyacht at the end of this year and the brokerage firm Camper & Nicholson will handle the sale.
The agreement between the international broker and the Viareggio shipyard, which until now has specialized in refitting boats between 24 and 70 meters, was signed in recent days and confirms the intentions announced by CEO Bartolomeo Giangrasso a few months ago.
“We have signed a central agency agreement with Camper & Nicholson: they will be the ones to find an owner for our first yacht, through the consolidated network of international contacts they can count on,” Giangrasso confirmed to SUPER YACHT 24, proud of the qualitative leap that the company he founded is preparing to make.
The first Giangrasso-branded boat, the G27 Sport, will be a 27-meter vessel built entirely of aluminum and designed by naval engineer Mirko Oprandi, a young professional who already boasts important collaborations with BlueGame, the Sanlorenzo Group brand. "He has a spectacular hand," Giangrasso emphasizes.
The design of the superyacht, which will be built entirely in-house at the Viareggio site, is at an advanced stage. Work is scheduled to begin in November 2022, with delivery approximately 18 months later, in mid-2024.
The G27 Sport will have four cabins, three of which are doubles. It will be powered by three 1350 hp Volvo Penta engines, and will feature a flash deck. "It won't have a sunroof, but a glass door on the bridge that will lift up like a veranda, allowing the owner to walk from bow to stern while remaining on a single deck," explains Giangrasso.
In parallel with the construction of his first superyacht, Giangrasso is also working on a second agreement with a foreign design firm for the construction of three aluminum catamarans. Refit work, currently virtually on hold after nearly all the boats have been delivered to their owners for the summer season, will resume in August with the arrival of the first yachts, which are expected to undergo a longer refit, lasting up to seven months.
