De Wave, a Genoese company active in naval furnishings, confirms its choice to expand in the maxi yacht sector by acquiring control of Mobil-line, a historic carpentry company, used by the main shipyards in the
world for the furnishing of large pleasure boats. Mobile-line is based in Vicopisano, and therefore in the strategic area for the design and
construction of mega yachts, boasts a consolidated presence on the market which has allowed it to become a point of reference for artisanal and industrial builders, also expressing a
innovation capacity combined with an unmistakable furnishing style.

For De Wave, which is on track to confirm a 2022 turnover of over 300 million euros, with 840 direct employees, this latest acquisition follows the recent ones of FCR and Tecnavi and confirms a precise strategy of bringing the entire work cycle in-house by directly controlling all the most significant components of the production cycle, both in the cruise sector and in that of large yachts, preserving and preserving the
professionalism of the acquired companies and creating the foundations, through its capitalization, for an expansion and diversification on the market that would not otherwise be possible.

“We are following a precise route – underlined Riccardo Pompili, CEO of De Wave – with the intention of constantly expanding our hub which is not only industrial, but also
equipped with very high professional and artisanal components to be preserved”.

Now, for Mobil-line, the challenge will be internationalization and exportation of an excellent Made in Italy product. The company has a turnover of 10 million euros.
and guarantees approximately 100 highly professional jobs in the shipbuilding industry. With the entry into the De Wave group, a program of significant investments will also begin to double the turnover and increase the workforce and
current structures which today extend over 3 thousand square meters of surface area.

Mobil-line's active orders include orders from the Palumbo shipyard, including a 50-metre mega yacht and a new unit (Extra X99 Fast) which will be exhibited at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
