Cantiere delle Marche has delivered the 32-meter Uptight
This Darwin 106 developed on the Darwin 102 platform was designed and modified by Sergio Cutolo (Hydro Tec) to satisfy the American owner who is passionate about sport fishing

Cantiere delle Marche has just announced the delivery to its owner, an American fishing enthusiast, of the superyacht renamed Uptight, a Darwin 106 developed on the Darwin 102 naval platform, designed and modified by Sergio Cutolo (Hydro Tec) to meet the requests of its owner who intends to venture into the waters of Alaska and other remote and pristine destinations with his family.
As a yacht designed for long-distance travel, the interiors, designed by Francesco Guida, are designed to offer exceptional comfort so the owner and his family can relax while on the move. The 255-ton gross tonnage is configured with features and layouts typical of American standards. One example is the main deck, a welcoming saloon comprising a living and dining area, directly connected to a country kitchen on the port side, for a more informal atmosphere.
On the upper deck, where the skylounge is usually located, the owner has reserved this area for his suite, so he can enjoy magnificent sea views in a private setting, which opens onto the aft terrace.
The lower deck features five additional guest cabins, including two doubles, two twins, and a large VIP suite. The crew quarters, consisting of three cabins and a shared area, are located in the bow section.
A standout feature of this Darwin 106 is the cockpit, specially adapted for sport fishing, complete with rod holders on the gunwale and a stern platform with a fishing station. Uptight is also equipped with all the necessary equipment for large fishing trips, such as fishing boxes and live bait storage. Under the cockpit sofa are two Eskimo ice makers, one for salt water and one for fresh water, plus freezers.
The vessel is equipped with two 500kW Caterpillar C18 Acert engines that allow a cruising speed of 11,5 knots and a top speed of 13 knots, with a range of over 4.700 nautical miles at the economical speed of 9,5 knots.
