Acquera Yachting Opens New Office in Gibraltar
Gateway to the Mediterranean and an ideal place for refueling pleasure boats, this location has the advantage of not applying VAT on fuel.

The Acquera Yachting agency continues to expand with the opening of a new base in Gibraltar, joining the existing 20 offices in 9 countries (Spain, France, Monaco, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, and Turkey).
The decision to open the new branch, the company reports, stems from the desire to attract and support its current and future customers throughout the Mediterranean region. Gibraltar's location, in particular, is strategic because it represents a large number of yachts that dock there at the end of their voyages in the Spanish marine area, both for refueling and to complete various bureaucratic formalities. As the gateway to the Mediterranean, Gibraltar has always been an ideal location for refueling pleasure boats and offers the unique advantage—as a British Overseas Territory—of not applying VAT on fuel.
The new branch on the Strait will be managed by the Englishman Philp Oxley and will be able to facilitate access to product deliveries from Spain and to any customs and logistics services.
Acquera Yachting provides all kinds of services to customers in all its offices, including mooring reservations, supplies, concierge, spare parts and maintenance, project implementation and event planning; in Italy it has branches in Sanremo, Civitavecchia, Marina di Stabia, Porto Cervo, Syracuse, Naples and its headquarters in Venice where it recently developed the innovative service app AcqueraPro dedicated to luxury nautical tourism to ensure transparency and optimization of services at the interface between captains, management companies, maxi yacht owners and the maritime agents who represent them in the various ports.
