Il Moro di Venezia (3)

Il Moro di Venezia, a historic Italian sailing vessel, has been returned to its former glory and is ready to be delivered to its owner, an Italian entrepreneur, who will have her at his disposal in just a few days.

The boat underwent a four-month refit at the Giangrasso shipyard in Viareggio, in the Cotone area.

The work was carried out by teams of approximately 10 workers per day on average and included a complete repainting and a complete overhaul of the engine room, including engine alignment.

The majestic mast and winches have also been completely overhauled, the mast also sandblasted.

Particular attention was paid to the name, restored to its original splendor with the “gold leaf” system.

The hull was not polished but treated with awl grip paint, while the deck parts were completely redone and the bottom treated.

The owner's impatience is understandable, as he will have the "new" Moro at his disposal for the summer season.
