Bertram Yachts launches a new Italian division in Europe.
With the arrival in Italy of the American shipyard Bertram, part of the Baglietto group, the great demand for its boats from enthusiasts on the old continent will be satisfied.

Bertram, the American shipyard specializing in the construction of sport fishing boats acquired in 2015 by the Gavio family and part of the Baglietto group, is lands in Europe with a new division that will operate at the large Baglietto production site in Marina di Carrara.
From the Ligurian shipyard's operational headquarters, Bertram will handle the construction and marketing of the brand in Italy and Europe. Bertram Yacht was founded over 60 years ago by yacht broker Dick Bertram, a passionate offshore sailor and motoryacht racer, who built the first 31" Moppie, thus inaugurating a series of sport fishing boats that became world-renowned for their excellent navigation and seaworthiness in challenging conditions.
Bertram's arrival in Italy stems from the desire to satisfy the numerous requests for its boats from enthusiasts in the old continent and will not affect the brand's DNA, which will remain absolutely Made in USA, as President Beniamino Gavio emphasizes: "Bertram remains a 100% American product. Some of the components will in fact be imported directly from the United States, but we are certain that we have all the prerequisites to meet the needs of our clientele, who have always appreciated boats that offer style, versatility, and charm while maintaining excellent seaworthiness." "The tradition of the Bertram product, its history, and its heritage," adds Diego Michele Deprati, CEO of Baglietto, "match perfectly with the Baglietto tradition. They are both iconic brands, which draw on the seafaring tradition on which they have built their history of quality and success."
The newly formed Bertram division's European operations kick off with the sale of a 35-inch commissioned by Dr. Andy Bianchedi, a passionate sailor and longtime owner, who chose this model, which will be produced in Carrara in a limited edition. The vessel will be delivered in spring 2023.
“I've always loved the Bertram style, a perfect blend of class, style, and performance that has naturally led it to represent a true 'state of mind' for so many sea lovers around the world,” said Andy Bianchedi.
