Canados expands its international dealer network

The Ostia shipyard is strengthening its global network to further boost sales of Gladiator range models.

Historic Italian brand Canados has announced an expansion of its global sales network, achieved through agreements with dealers in the Mediterranean area, on both coasts of the United States, and in the Caribbean.

With this move, the Ostia-based shipyard, which specializes in building yachts up to 40 meters in length, intends to give a new boost to sales of the Gladiator range, which, with its seven open models between 12 and 29 meters, currently represents the mainstay of the offering, which is complemented by the other two lines, Canados and Oceanic.

With top speeds between 37 and 85 knots, Gladiator yachts boast one of the best fuel consumption-to-mileage ratios, according to the shipyard, thanks to the unique naval architecture with which they are built, a feature that adds to the flexibility and levels of customization previously only available on larger boats.

When selecting new global dealers, Canados considered factors such as after-sales service and support capabilities, and financial stability. Each dealer will have boats always available for test drives, dedicated spaces for the Canados brand, or a showroom where customers can choose the materials, fabrics, and colors for their boat.

The new Canados dealers are: Smart Yachting (Balearic Islands), Mercurio (Saint Tropez), Bleu Plaisance (Saint-Raphael), Modern Boast (Cannes-Mandelieu), Bizzarri Nautic (Ajaccio, Corsica), SLT Collection (Florida), Wally Castro Marine (Puerto Rico) and Canados Saint Barth (Saint Barth, French Antilles).

Canados expects to deliver 17 boats from 13 to 43 meters this year, while the order book can count on 33 boats including an Oceanic 76' and a 100' Shadow, an Oceanic 143' Tri-Deck, a Canados 152' and two Gladiator 96'.

The 143' Oceanic Tri-Deck will be launched in 2022, while four more models are planned for next year: the Oceanic 76' Shadow, the Oceanic 100' Shadow, the Gladiator 571 Blade, and the Gladiator 961 Speed.
