With a suggestive keel-laying ceremony at the Vittoria Yachts shipyard in Adria (Rovigo), the Veneto-based shipyard announced and celebrated the start of construction of the Veloce 32 RPH, a 32-meter superyacht designed by the naval architecture and engineering firm Hydro Tec and scheduled for delivery in January 2024.

A statement from the shipyard explains that the Veloce 32 RPH, built on spec, is designed "for owners who require a Made in Italy yacht crafted with care and craftsmanship, according to standards of execution that stem from over 100 years of shipbuilding experience, with a strong focus on high performance underway, as its name suggests. Vittoria Yachts thus continues Cantiere Navale Vittoria's century-long experience in shipbuilding, now its 900th vessel. This guarantees reliability for the owner, who will have the opportunity to maintain a direct relationship with the management and the Duò family, who have owned the company since 1927."

Paolo Duò, president of Cantiere Navale Vittoria and Vittoria Yachts, commented: "Our shipyard draws on its century-long experience in shipbuilding and its focus on innovation. Veloce represents an ideal bridge between the tradition of Cantiere Navale Vittoria and the present and future of Vittoria Yachts. In the Veloce 32 RPH, we have sought to transfer, while adapting them, the characteristics of safety, efficiency, and innovation typical of the Fast Patrol Vessels that have served and continue to serve some of the most important national and international navies. Over time, the challenges we have faced have been numerous and complex, striving to always raise the bar and never be satisfied. From the first wooden boats in the shipyard founded by my grandfather Luigi to today, many things have changed, but what has never been lacking is the passion and desire to make dreams concrete and real. Vittoria Yachts is one of these dreams, a desire we have carried within us for years, and the time has finally come to set sail towards new seas, with the wind in our sails and the will to to bring the Vittoria Experience to as many people as possible”.

Michele Zorzenon, CEO of Vittoria Yachts, added: "After a challenging but successful year, during which we saw the two lines, Veloce and Bow Sprit, born and developed, meeting with widespread approval among owners, we inaugurate 2022 with this exciting ceremony that ideally marks the beginning of a new construction adventure. This new project will stand out for its ability to accommodate all customization requests and encompass the typical characteristics of 30-meter superyachts, always guaranteeing high performance. The construction on spec Veloce's hull and superstructure carpentry and complete engineering allow for a reduction in delivery times of approximately one year; this is essential for those who want their boat as soon as possible."

This is the shipyard's description. "With a modern and captivating design, the Veloce 32 RPH is 32 meters long, has a 7,2-meter beam, and extends over three decks; the semi-displacement hull allows it to sail safely in any sea around the world at a top speed of 20 knots thanks to a pair of 1.900 hp Man engines. Highly performing in terms of speed but designed for long-distance cruising, the Veloce 32 RPH is a blend of efficiency, comfort, and timeless design. Its distinctive lines, designed by Hydro Tec, hint at a vocation for safe navigation. It features a straight bow and a raised gunwale that lends a more masculine and imposing look to the bowsprit and bulwarks, while also providing greater privacy and protection to the exterior areas. The pilothouse has a low profile with a reverse windshield for a modern and distinctive design."

According to Sergio Cutolo, founder of Hydro Tec, "The Veloce project fully embodies the spirit of Vittoria Yachts, a shipyard that is part of a highly specialized organization specializing in the construction of fast, lightweight aluminum boats for law enforcement. While BowSprit embodies the ideal vessel for cold seas and ocean exploration, Veloce is a typically Mediterranean vessel, relatively fast, with large, open spaces and a large owner's suite on the Main Deck. The vertical bow, perfectly complementing the hull lines, gives Veloce an aggressive look that also translates into high efficiency at different speeds. The low profile of the cockpit, with its reverse-angled windshield, is inspired by the fast patrol boats built by the shipyard and, in addition to contributing to the aggressive look, offers perfect visibility from the helm station and the bridge instruments."

Zorzenon finally specifies that the goal "is to satisfy the needs of owners who wish to travel aboard a true vessel constructed of metal, without sacrificing the cruising speed typical of a fiberglass vessel. This key feature becomes a source of opportunity for the client, who is free to cruise in economy or 'Veloce' mode. Careful attention is also paid to the selection of materials and finishes to maintain a consistent style throughout the yacht."

The elegant, contemporary interiors are designed to seamlessly connect with the outdoors; sliding doors and windows create unique, airy spaces with unobstructed views of the surrounding landscape, ensuring unrestricted use of the space, and impressive ceiling heights. The interiors' stylistic signature is modern and refined, with meticulous attention to detail. Leather and furnishings by Poltrona Frau, combined with exquisite wood elements, contribute to creating spaces of exceptional refinement.
