Sanlorenzo: "We are not exposed to the Russian market."
The company reassures investors and focuses on Dubai

At a time when all operators are wondering what impact the war between Russia and Ukraine will have on nautical customers from both countries, Sanlorenzo has come out into the open with a specific statement in which it reels off figures aimed at reassuring investors.
“The backlog amount as of January 31, 2022, equal to 1.002,6 million euros, relating to Russian customers, does not reach 10% of the total distributed over three financial years,” according to the shipyard.
The official statement continues by specifying that "these are entities not affected by international sanctions, whose payments are regular, and that to date no orders have been cancelled."
This should be enough to reassure the financial community to which Sanlorenzo, a listed company, primarily serves.
This is an important moment for the La Spezia-based shipyard, which is preparing to participate, through its dealer Sanlorenzo Middle East, in the Dubai International Boat Show, the Middle East's leading boat show, scheduled for March 9th to 13th.
“In the heart of New Dubai, immersed in the evocative setting of Dubai Marina, a welcoming Sanlorenzo lounge overlooking the sea offers a unique view of the SX88 crossover, a model that was among the first to revolutionize the concept of livability at sea,” announces the company led by Massimo Perotti, which is aiming to showcase one of its most successful models to attract the attention of the international clientele that gravitates around Dubai, which has now become a reference hub for the global nautical industry.
