The value of sales in the last week of the month increased significantly but at the same time there continues to be a high number of falling prices on boats

Over €160 million worth of superyachts sold at the end of January.
In the last week of January, superyacht sales reached €163,8 million, driven by large yachts such as the 48,77-meter Hakvoort Mirgab VI from the Dutch shipyard Royal Hakvoort Shipyard and the 80-meter Sevanna (formerly Tatiana) from Bilgin Yachts. Both yachts had asking prices of €110 million.
A total of four yachts were not disclosed for their asking prices, three of which were newbuild superyachts: the 55-meter S-Force 55 built by Admiral, the 44,4-meter Mangusta Oceano 44, and the 38,2-meter Azimut Grande Trideck. According to the weekly Superyacht Brokerage Analysis conducted by Boat Business and Superyacht Recruiter, the total value of superyachts registered between January 25 and 30 increased by 86,9% compared to the previous week, pushing average selling prices to €19,6 million.
The week saw 13 sales, a slight increase from the previous week's 12, with the 80-meter Sevanna being the week's largest sale. Conversely, the sale of the 27,9-meter Mocean by Drettmann Yachts was the smallest sale of the week.
A total of eight new listings were added to the market, led by the 39,85-meter Mangusta built by Overmarine, which was listed with Y.CO at a price of €14,6 million. The total value of the new listings was recorded at €66,1 million, leveling off at an average of €6,5 million.
