Floating Life, a boutique company founded by Andrea Pezzini and Barbara Tambani, specializing in providing comprehensive yachting services, is pleased to announce the addition of Filippo Rossi to its team. As Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), he will be responsible for strengthening the company's commercial strategy. Rossi thus assumes a leadership role within Floating Life and will focus on expanding and growing Floating Life across all of the company's areas of expertise (management, charter & brokerage, build & technical, fiscal & legal, safety & security). He will also be responsible for promoting the new Fractional Ownership program.

Born in Brescia in 1969, Filippo Rossi, a graduate of the Polytechnic University of Brescia, has thirty years of experience in the yachting industry, having earned a degree in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Brescia and a passion for the sea. He began his career in 1999 as a fit-out manager for the historic Venetian shipyards Innovazione e Progetti and Dalla Pietà Yachts. A few years later, he opened the Ganto studio, specializing in megayacht design (a studio that is still active today, where he is currently head of design). In 2009, he joined Floating Life as sales director, and in 2013, he moved to Venice-based Arzanà Navi as general manager, where he oversaw the construction of Nativa, a 50-meter sloop, which he later took to the Rolex Maxi in Porto Cervo and exhibited at the Monaco Yacht Show. In 2014, he joined the Fraser Yacht team in Monte Carlo for two years. In 2016, he was appointed sales and marketing manager for Lynx Yacht, where he remains the primary contact for the sale of new projects (in recent months, he has participated in the sales organization of the Vittoria Yachts shipyard). Filippo Rossi also teaches nautical design at the LABA (Free Academy of Fine Arts) in Brescia and is a brand ambassador for FZSonick, a company that produces sodium-nickel batteries, "a business that highlights his strong aptitude and interest in environmental sustainability."

"We are particularly pleased to have Filippo Rossi back at Floating Life: it's not a new addition to the team, but a return. And his presence gives me peace of mind. Filippo is a professional with comprehensive technical expertise; a leading figure with excellent communication skills, which today increasingly form the basis for building excellent external relationships. Furthermore, his experience in international brokerage and design makes him a reliable partner in the various areas we serve. Filippo is ten years younger than me and also represents the transition figure for Floating Life's future direction," says CEO Andrea Pezzini.
