Teo Titi is the new president of the yacht section of Federagenti
The Brindisi maritime agent has been operating in the field of assistance to mega yachts for over 25 years and was the first to create a company dedicated to the sector and to the promotion of Puglia as a destination for yachts.
Teodoro Titi is the new president of the Yacht Section of Federagenti. The Italian Federation of Maritime Agents announced the news, explaining that he was appointed by acclamation during its assembly. He succeeds Giovanni Gasparini, "who has led the section, bringing to light a profession and a completely new vocation to most Italian maritime agents, who in recent years have acquired specific expertise in the large pleasure craft sector, thus diversifying and differentiating their service offerings."
"It's a great honor for me," said Teo Titi, a native of Brindisi and a fourth-generation shipping agent, "to take over the reins at a time when all international forecasts indicate the luxury maritime market has the highest potential for growth and development, especially in the Mediterranean basin, with significant implications for the Italian market and port system."
Federagenti, in a statement, recalls that not only are Italian ports experiencing unprecedented growth in the provision of services to yachts and megayachts, but the Italian shipbuilding industry also ranks among the world's leading producers of ultra-luxury vessels.
"It has been a source of pride for me to lead the federation's yacht section, achieving two very important results: first, establishing a specific professionalism within our category in a rapidly expanding market; second, defining, also through the 'Forum of Possible Luxury' (the 2022 edition of which is already underway, scheduled to take place between May and June in the usual setting of Porto Cervo), an image of yachts and megayachts as an added value, within the context of high-end tourism, for our country," emphasized Giovanni Gasparini, a Trieste native who has moved to Elba.
Teo Titi has been working in the megayacht service industry for over 25 years. He was the first in Puglia to create a company dedicated to the sector and to promoting Puglia worldwide as a yachting destination.
